Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was fourteen years old. In addition to BJJ training She also took classes in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18, she made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and then went on to a three-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. After that, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen initially defeated Silvia Babyghian, before heading to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the the first round via TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen rise up to Bantamweight after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen was then able to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC21 was her last match for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks with a majority decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina with a ground-and-- - beat her to a TKO victory in the 2nd round. She continued her dominance and scored an even impressive victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the first round and was awarded the performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd's victory was a unanimous decision, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award came to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in just 16 seconds which ended her winning streak. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her recent fight for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
