Eddie Brown, 30, is charged with being an accomplice in the murder of the Columbia Police Department, officials confirm. Sims 26, who was last seen December. 20 in Columbia on Ervin Street in Columbia. Police believe that Sims his girlfriend Wardlaw was missing since Dec. 22. A body was discovered in a creek off Monticello Road Wednesday, and the Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has confirmed that the corpse belonged to Sims.
